Didymella aliena (Fr.) Q. Chen & L. Cai 2015
This fungus has been isolated from a variety of woody plants in Europe. Among others, it causes brown lesions and fruit rot on pomegranate. Pcynidia are spherical with a dark olivaceous or black colour and a size of around 100-200 µm. The conidia are elliptical with an average size of 6-8 x 3-3.5 µm.
