The red clover necrotic mosaic virus infects leguminous crops. It can, for example, be a problem on clover in pastures. The icosahedral particles have a diameter of 36-nm and the genome is split between two single-stranded RNA molecules of approximately 3.9 kb and 1.5 kb, as well as a 400-nucleotide degradation product.
