Derbidae

The family includes planthoppers with the last segment of the rostrum very short. The wings are often long and narrow and raised at rest. Some species are considered to be able to transmit plant diseases, in particular phytoplasmas (e.g. see Bila et al., 2017), although the evidence for this is weak.
