Cucumis melo (weed) L. - (smellmelon)
Melon (Cucumis melo) is widely grown as as fruit, vegetable and sometimes also as an ornamental. Two varieties have been reported as weeds:
• Cucumis melo var. dudaim (smellmelon) as a weed of cotton, soybean and other crops in some parts of North America,
• Cucumis melo var. agrestis (wild melon) as a weed in parts of Asia.
