Carpobrotus edulis (weed) (L.) L. Bolus - (hottentot fig)

This plant is native to South Africa and has invaded various other regions, like Europe, North America or Australia. It grows especially in coastal Mediterranean-type habitats like dunes and grasslands where it suppresses other vegetation.
