Brachycaudus cardui (Linnaeus, 1758) - (thistle aphid)

This aphid is widely distributed and attacks the flowers and leaves of Prunus spp. (cherry, plum and apricot) in the first generation. It then migrates to artichoke, ornamentals and other plants for the 2nd generation.
