Botrytis fabae Sardiña 1933
The fungus is widely distributed and causes leaf spot (chocolate spot) on faba beans (Vicia faba) as well as on other legumes. Yield losses can be extensive and losses of more than 50% have been reported, for example, from Australia, the U.K., China and Ethiopia.
