Some effects fo temperature on the diurnal periodicity of adult emergence in Trichopoda pennipes (Diptera: Tachinidae)
Australian Journal of Zoology 7 (1), 1-6
Abstract: There is a marked diurnal periodicity of adult emergence in Trichopoda pennipes. This periodicity is greatly modified by temperature change, and adults can be induced to emerge at any time by providing a temperature-increase stimulus. Adults sometimes emerge in response to very small increases of temperature.
