Records of Australian Cerambycidae (Coleoptera) from Lantana camara
Australian Journal of Entomology 37 (3), 285-286
Abstract: The first host plant for the Australian cerambycid Athemistus howitti Pascoe is recorded. Adults were collected from within living stems of Lantana camara in central New South Wales. Ichthyodes (Orinoeme) centurio (Pascoe), which has been recorded on other hosts, was also collected from living stems of L. camara. A further two species with other known hosts, Athemistus rugosulus (Guérin-Mèneville) and Ceresium australe Carter, have been collected previously from dead, decaying stems of L. camara.
