Molecular evidence for existence of a New World begomovirus associated with yellow mosaic disease of Corchorus capsularis in India
Australasian Plant Disease Notes 3 (1), 59-62
Abstract: Yellow mosaic disease of jute (Corchorus capsularis) was found to be associated with a whitefly-vectored begomovirus. Sequencing of part of the begomovirus DNA-A indicated the presence of a New World begomovirus which has been detected for the first time in India.
