Aulocara Scudder, 1876
This is a small genus of grasshoppers with 3 species being currently recognized. They live in rangelands of western North America, feeding on different types of grasses. The females are around 25 mm long, males are smaller. Aulocara elliotti is considered a rangeland pest.
