Araliaceae (weeds) - (ginseng family)

The ginseng family includes more than 1,000 plant species, predominantly shrubs and trees. Many are found in tropical regions. Some are grown as crops or as ornamentals, but a few species are weedy. For example, several species of the genus Hydrocotyle (water pennyworts) are aquatic or semi-aquatic weeds which are invasive in some areas.
