Monitoring of Hylobius abietis (L.) (Col., Curculionidae) populations by two types of baited pitfall traps
Anzeiger für Schädlingskunde, Pflanzenschutz, Umweltschutz 67 (5), 90-92
Abstract: Two types of baited pitfall traps with standardized food attractants (alpha-pinene, 96% ethanol and water) were compared in monitoring Hylobius abietis (L.) populations at several localities in southern Bohemia (Czech Republic). The smaller type (volume 1 l)) proved less useful in comparison with the larger type (volume 15 l). The latter type is described and discussed in more detail with respect to its application in the field.
