Abstract: Male Dicladispa armigera (Olivier) took an active role in initiating copulation, approached the female from the front, and mounted directly onto the dorsal surface of her elytra. Male and female D. armigera mated irregularly almost until death, an average of 67.60 ± 0.97 times. The average duration of copulation was 2.14 h.
