Anais da Sociedade Entomológica do Brasil 28 (3), 439-446
Abstract: A key to the identification of Dilobopterus costalimai Young, Acrogonia sp., Oncometopia facialis (Signoret), Bucephalogonia xanthophis (Berg) and Plesiommata corniculata Young based on external morphology and male genitalia is presented. These sharpshooter leafhoppers are considered vectors of Xylella fastidiosa to citrus. The first four species are collected in several habitats such as orchard, forest, cultivable plain, swamp, sugar cane, coffee, while P. corniculata occurs mostly on grasses, Brachiaria decumbens Stapf, Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers.
