Abstract: A study of insect pests on cultivated plants in the Paraibano Swamp area of Brazil was carried out over a period of seven years, as a contribution towards a catalogue of insect pests in that region. Adults of Gryllus assimilis and Gryllotalpa hexadactyla are listed as pests of tomato.
