Neoseiulus paspalivorus (predator) (DeLeon, 1957)
This mite is widely distributed and an important predator of the coconut mite, Aceria guerreronis. The coconut mite is well protected under the bracts of the developing nuts, where it feeds on the surface of the young nuts. N. paspalivorus is able to penetrate into this habitat due to its small size, short legs and relatively flat body.
