Alternaria zinniae M.B. Ellis, 1972
This fungus has a wide distribution in different regions around the world. It infects mainly plants of the genus Zinnia, causing leaf spot diseases. A. zinniae belongs to the section Porri of the Alternaria species (Woudenberg et al., 2014).
