Alternaria tagetica S.K. Shome & Mustafee 1966
This fungus has been reported from the Americas, Europe and Asia. It causes a leaf spot and blight disease on marigold (Tagetes erecta). A. tagetica belongs to section Porri, a large-spored group of Alternaria species (Woudenberg et al., 2014).
