Alternaria cichorii Nattrass 1937
This fungus infects chicory (Cichorium intybus), causing leaf spots. The conidia have a size of 56-78 x 14-20 μm, with long beaks (36-81 x 1-2 μm), 7-9 transverse septa, and occasionally 1 or 2 longitudinal septa (Koike & Butler, 1998).
