Alternaria alstroemeriae E.G. Simmons & C.F. Hill 2007
This fungus causes a black spot disease on Alstroemeria plants in the Americas, Australia, and Asia. The symptoms start as small dark-brown leaf spots (spindle to irregular shaped) and enlarge to black lesions. A. alstroemeriae belongs to the type group of Alternaria species (Woudenberg et al., 2015).
