Allothrombium (predators/parasites) Berlese, 1903

This genus has a world-wide distribution and includes around 10 species of mites. They are ectoparasites of aphids in their larval stages but predators of spider mites, scales and other arthropods in their adult life. For example, Allothrombium pulvinum is regarded as a natural enemy of pest arthropods in several countries.
