Aleurodicus cocois (Curtis, 1846) - (coconut whitefly, cashew whitefly)

This whitefly is found in Central America, northern parts of South America, some southern parts of North America, as well as in Hawaii. It is a pest on various tree crops like coconut palms, cashew nut, or avocado. Severe outbreaks followed introductions into several Caribbean islands, e.g. in Barbados in the 1830s, when it destroyed many coconut palms.
