[Genetic differentiation in the thiamethoxam-resistant strain of Bemisia tabaci B-biotype]
Acta Entomologica Sinica 47 (6), 754-759
Abstract: The genetic differentiation in the thiamethoxam-resistant strain of the B-biotype Bemisia tabaci was investigated by the method of AFLP marker. Then a dendrogram was constructed from the matrix of genetic distances using the STATISTICA software (4.5 version) and UPGMA ( Unweighted Pair-Group Method using the Arithmetic Averages). A significant genetic differentiation was found between the resistant and susceptive strains of Bemisia tabaci. Additionally, characteristic amplified DNA fragments, the fragment 150 bp for resistant strain and the fragment 315 bp for susceptive strain were identified using the EcoRI + ACT/Mse I + CTG primer, which may serve to develop molecular detection of Bemisia tabaci resistance to thiamethoxam.
