Pseudocerradoa paullula (Syd. & P. Syd.) M. Ebinghaus & Dianese 2022 - (aroid leaf rust)
This fungus has been described from several host plants of the family Araceae. It has been mainly reported from tropical parts of south-eastern Asia and Australia. The variety Pseudocerradoa paullula f.sp. monsterae infects the ornamental plant Monstera deliciosa. The urediniospores are spherical, brown with a diameter of around 25-30 µm and an echinulate surface. The 2-celled teliospores are oval and around 30 x 25 µm large. An aecial host has not been described.
