Apricot pseudo-chlorotic leaf spot virus (APCLSV)

This virus has been recorded from Europe, Asia and Australia. It infects different Prunus species like apricots and peach, causing severe stem pitting on Japanese plum and symptoms resembling those described for the apricot ringpox disease on apricots (e.g. brown-reddish rings on the fruits), see Liberti et al. (2005). However, symptom expression is not clear, as hosts have often mixed infections by several viruses.
