Betabaculovirus phoperculellae (entomopathogen)

Phthorimaea operculella granulovirus (PhopGV)

The Phthorimaea operculella granulovirus infects mainly the potato tuber moth (Phthorimaea operculella). Other hosts include Tecia solanivora and the tomato leaf miner, Phthorimaea absoluta. PhopGV is a dsDNA virus with a genome of about 119 kbp encoding 130 open reading frames (ORFs).
