Beauveria brongniartii (entomopathogen) (Sacc.) Petch (1926)
The fungus is used against white grubs like Melolontha species and is produced commercially. These products are based on sterile barley grains inoculated with the fungus. Against cockchafers, the products are applied to the soil at a rate of 20-50 kg per hectare.
