Lysiphlebus fabarum (parasitoid) (Marshall, 1896)

L. fabarum is a koinobiont endoparasitoid of aphids which is commercially produced. It is a polyphagous species with many hosts. Especially aphids of the genus Aphis are preferred hosts. In Aphis fabae, the second instar is most suitable for the development of the parasitoid and like for other koinobionts, the host continues to feed and grow after parasitism.
