Cordyceps farinosa (Holmsk.) Kepler, B. Shrestha & Spatafora 2017 (against insects)

This is a common, soil dwelling, entomopathogenic fungus which infects insects from nearly all orders. It is widely distributed and seems to be particularly effective at cooler temperatures. For a review see G. Zimmermann, 2008.
