Diadegma insulare (parasitoid) (Cresson, 1865)
This wasp is an important parasitoid of the diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella) in the Americas. It has been recorded from Canada to Argentina and is particularly common in North America where it can parasitise 50-70%, sometimes up to 95%, of the Plutella xylostella larvae (1st to 4th instars). D. insulare is commercially available and can parasitise other Plutella species.
