Necremnus tutae (parasitoid) Ribes & Bernardo, 2015
This wasp is native to central and western parts of the Mediterranean region. It is an ectoparasitoid of larvae of the invasive South American tomato moth, Tuta absoluta, and can be common in some areas. The native hosts are unknown. Greenhouse studies have indicated that honeydew appears to enhance the performance of the wasp (de Campos et al., 2020).
The adult wasp has a body length of 2 to 3 mm, with a metallic green thorax. For a detailed taxonomical description see Gebiola et al. (2016).
