Eretmocerus hayati (parasitoid) Zolnerowich & Rose, 1998

The wasp is a whitefly parasitoid which has been introduced into several countries and is now widely distributed. The female feeds on the host and lays a single egg under a whitefly nymph. Upon hatching the parasitoid larva penetrates the skin. Unfertilized eggs develop into males, fertilized eggs into females.
