Ephedrus niger (parasitoid) Gautier, Bonnamour & Gaumont, 1929
This wasp is found in Europe and Asia, where it has been reared from several aphid species, like Uroleucon, Macrosiphoniella and Megoura species, e.g. see Tomanovic et al., (2003). Taxonomically, it is closely related to Ephedrus plagiator, but can be be distinguished by the darker, almost black body colour and the longer F1 antennal segment.
