Neozygites tanajoae (entomopathogen) Delalibera Jr., Humber & Hajek, 2004

This fungus infects the cassava green mite (Mononychellus tanajoa) and has been introduced into Africa from South America against that mite. In some older articles this species has been identified as Neozygites floridana or Neozygites cf. floridana (Delalibera et al., 2004). Both species can be separated by their DNA structure.
