Neozygites parvispora (entomopathogen) (D.M. MacLeod & K.P. Carl) Remaud. & S. Keller 1980

This fungus is common in Europe, but has been also reported from other regions like Australia. It infects various species of thrips like the western flower thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis). The surface of the resting spores is ornamented with numerous projections, in contrast to other Neozygites species.
