Hedya nubiferana (Haworth, 1811) - (marbled orchard tortrix)
This moth is a polyphagous pest in eastern and Central Europe and has been also accidentally introduced into North America. The main host plants are species of the Rosaceae family like apple, pear, apricot and plum. However it may also attack cherry, almond, currant and various forest trees such as birch and willow. The female lays its eggs on the leaves and the larvae feed on buds of flowers, and roll the leaves.
