Dermestidae - (skin beetles)
The family includes between 500 and 1000 species which feed on dry animal or plant material. Several are important storage pests and infest products like animal skins, dried meat or fish, but also wool, copra or cacao beans. The larvae are generally dark brown to black and hairy.
