This predatory mite is found in southern parts of eastern Australia, where it feeds on spider mites. It has been mainly reported from grapevine and fruit trees, where it shelters in leaf domatia, small hair tufts, pockets, or pits in the leaf surface (Rowles & O'Dowd, 2009).
