Lygus rugulipennis Poppius - (European tarnished plant bug)

The bug is common and polyphagous in Europe. It attacks crops like strawberries, potatoes, cereals or alfalfa, causing malformations. The adults are about 5 mm long, the forewings have a densely pubescent corium. The colour is variable brown, gray, light green or almost black. It may complete several generations per year.
