Thyrinteina Möschler, 1890
This genus of geometrid moths is found in tropical and subtropical parts of the Americas. Some species are considered pests like the defoliator Thyrinteina arnobia which infests a number of trees grown in South America. Damage has been mainly reported from eucalypts.
Type species: Thyrinteina quadricostaria
