Template:CheckDOI

The template checks whether the content of the field 'DOI number:' starts with '10.' and returns an error message if it does not.

The template takes the following 2 parameters:

Any previous error message

|2= 

The field content

Usage:

{{CheckDOI|1=|2=11.123x093}}

… results in:

DOI Value Error: Value “11.123x093“ of the field ‘DOI number:’ needs to start with ‘10.’. Please correct the data.
