Template:CheckBook

The template takes three parameters related to the Publication form:

|1= 

The info parameter, which should contain any previous messages to be displayed in the Infobox (see Template:InformationBox) for a publication.

|2= 

The field <Is book> of the article, which may be blank.

|3= 

The field <Journal or series> of the article, which may also be blank.

If <Is book> is set to Yes, but the <Journal or series> is not blank the template expands the text for the Infobox with the message.

Usage (with example that should be a book but a journal):

{{CheckBook|1=|2=Yes|3=Journal or series}}

… results in:

This publication is a book or book chapter. However, it contains text in the field <Journal or series> which should be blank. Kindly re-edit the page using 'edit with form' and move the text from the field <Journal or series> to the field <Note>.
