Steinernema abbasi (entomopathogen) Elawad et al., 1997
This species of insect-pathogenic nematode has been originally described from Oman. It has been subsequently recorded from various tropical and subtropical parts of Asia. It has been mainly studied as a possible biological control agent against pupae of Lepidoptera pests found in the soil.
