Spalangiidae (parasitoids)

Until 2022, this family of chalcid wasps was regarded as part of the family Pteromalidae, but has been separated on molecular and morphological grounds (Burks et al., 2022). The main genus is Spalangia which includes important pupal parasitoids of flies.
