First report of tobacco as a natural host of Euphorbia mosaic virus in Cuba
Plant Pathology 59 (4), 795-795
Abstract: During 2007, tobacco plants (Nicotiana tabacum) grown in Cuba were observed with symptoms of foliar yellowing and crinkling due to infections by Tobacco yellow crinkle virus. In addition, plants with downward curling, rugosity and yellow mottle of leaves with reduction in plant height were seen. The presence of Euphorbia mosaic virus was demonstrated in the latter plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing.
