Abstract: During 2005 and 2007 Leymus chinensis and Thalictrum squarrosum plants growing in Jilin Province were found to be infected with Puccinia elymi. Aecia were abundant and are described. Pathogenicity of the aeciospores was demonstrated by inoculation and re-isolation.
