Leek yellow stripe virus newly reported in Turkey
Plant Pathology 58 (4), 787-787
Abstract: During 2007, leek (Allium porrum) plants grown in north-west Turkey were observed with symptoms of mosaic, yellow stripe, malformation and dwarfing symptoms. On average disease incidence was between 30-40% but in some fields disease incidence reached 90%. The presence of Leek yellow stripe virus was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing.
