First report of pathogenicity group 2 of Leptosphaeria maculans causing blackleg of oilseed rape in Iran
Plant Pathology 58 (6), 1175-1175
Abstract: During 2008, 20 to 60% of rapeseed (Brassica napus) plants grown in some regions of Iran were observed with typical stem canker symptoms. Eleven isolates of the fungus Leptosphaeria maculans were obtained from the diseased plants and their pathogenicity groups were determined by differential inoculations of a number of cultivars. Two isolates were classified as belonging to pathogenicity group PG2 and nine isolates as PG1.
