Downy mildew outbreak on Chrysanthemum boreale caused by Paraperonospora minor
Plant Pathology 57 (6), 1176-1176
Abstract: Since 2004, ornamental Chrysanthemum boreale plants grown in Korea were observed with symptoms of pale green to yellowish leaves with whitish fungal-like growth developing on the lower surfaces and followed by wilting. The fungus Paraperonospora minor was isolated from the diseased plants. The identification was based on morphological characteristics and nucleotide sequencing of the 28S rDNA.
